	Calendar Reminders December is a very busy time of year in our schools and community! Below are a few dates and events to keep in mind: Light the 'Dale is TONIGHT from 5PM to 7PM in Boniface Circle! Fall Conferences for Grades K-5 are scheduled for today & Friday, 12/12, for early release. Tuesday, 12/9, conferences are scheduled for after school (full day of school for students). Our next discussion of Capital Projects will take place on Monday, 12/15. District-wide Holiday Sing will take place on Tuesday, 12/16, at 3:45 PM at Quaker Ridge Elem! 	ParentSquare Notification Update ParentSquare has announced an update to how you receive notifications for posts from our schools. Starting Tuesday, December 9, 2025, if you use the ParentSquare app and have both app and text notifications turned on, you'll receive post notifications through the app, with text notifications sent only as a backup when needed. This smart delivery system will simplify and streamline how you receive your school communications. Click here for more information.
	Build a Gingerbread House! Come Join SHS Scarsdale Builders build Gingerbread Houses to Help Build Affordable Housing in Westchester with Fuller Housing of Greater NY & Habitat For Humanity! Join us on Friday, December 12th (SHS Cafeteria 3:30-5:45) to join the party, decorate a house, meet Gingy, enjoy friends and have a great afternoon of holiday cheer for a good cause! Each house is $40 (pay here with MySchoolBucks) with all profits donated!
	Food Drive - Feeding Westchester The food drives in support of Feeding Westchester will run until Monday, December 8th. (*Heathcote and SMS food drives end today.) Donations of non-perishable food items are gladly welcomed, and/or you can participate in the virtual food drive accessible by CLICKING HERE. Collection boxes are available at Fox Meadow, Greenacres, Quaker Ridge, and SHS.
	Raider Pride Week Raider Pride week starts Monday, December 8th, and culminates with the Winter Pep Rally on Friday! Also, the Maroon Basketball for a Cause Tournament supporting Children's Charities also takes place next week, with games on Thursday, December 11th, and Saturday, December 13th. Please show your spirit and support our teams!
